Cúrate, mijita ❤️
I do sound baths for the heart space, inspired by la tierra 🌎 and her medicine. Oceans, rain, wind, bird song – all lovingly provided to help us regulate and release.
📍 Proudly serving the traditional homelands of the Nuwu and Southern Paiute People. Thank you for being the stewards of these incredible lands. Read my full Land Acknowledgement here.
I do my soundbaths a certain way.
No gongs, no startling noises. Gentle Singing bowls paired with nature-inspired instruments.
I’m also inspired by the sounds of my culture and roots. The heartbeat of a drum, the soft chords of a Bolero. The enduring flow of the native flute. 🪶

What are the benefits of Sound Baths?
Sounds can significantly influence our physiological state.
Soundbath facilitators aim to use gentle instruments like singing bowls, flutes, and chimes to create frequencies that encourage relaxation. We aim to shift the body from fight-or-flight mode into rest-and-digest mode. 🌱
Soundbaths help regulate your nervous system.
- They help stimulate the vagus nerve, the nerve in charge of telling your body to relax
- Have been shown to lower cortisol levels and other stress markers in the bloodstream
- Trains the brain to access deeper levels of rest

Soundbaths help have general wellness & psychological benefits too.
- Facilitate shifting your brainwaves from the active Beta state to the deeply relaxed Alpha or Theta states (similar to deep meditation or REM sleep.)
- Improves circulation and sleep quality
- Improved mental clarity & makes it easier to meditate for those who find it hard to
